W. Michael Doramus

Senior Vice President – Real Estate Operations

Mr. Doramus is SVP of Real Estate Operations at Sarofim and is responsible for the firm’s multifamily assets.  Mike manages the multifamily team in acquisitions, development, asset management, and dispositions. He is the portfolio manager for Sarofim's commingled multifamily development funds. Mike began working with Sarofim in 2001 and since then has directed the strategies and execution of all of the firm’s multifamily assets including a multiple award-winning development.  He is a member of Sarofim’s Investment Committee.

Mike’s previous experience, that highlights more than thirty years in real estate and finance, includes positions as President of Echelon Residential, LLC and National Partner at JPI. Some of his career accomplishments include development of award-winning residential properties and national recognition for successful leadership resulting from his tenure at JPI. 

Mike graduated from Rhodes College with a BA in Political Science with Honors and Distinction.  He is a member of the National Multi Housing Council.
